(Javanese Language: Kue Nagasari)
You will need
- 300 g rice flour
- 75 g granulated sugar
- 1½ tsp salt
- 750 cc coconut milk from a coconut
- 2 pandan leaves, tied up in a bundle
- 15 "raja" banana, cut 4 cm long, divided lengthwise into two

What You do
- Mix the rice flour, granulated sugar, salt, pandan leaves, and coconut milk. Stir well.
- Boil the mixture over a low flame, stirring continuously until it becomes a thick porridge. Remove from heat.
- Put 2 to 3 tablespoonful of the dough on a piece of banana leaf. Insert a piece of banana in the center of the dough. Fold the two sides inward, then fold the two edges until they touch. Make 5 to 7 cm pieces.
- Steam the dough in a steamer until it hardens or about 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Serve cool.
Note:
To make sure that the sweet banana cake is well done, press it. If it is hard, it is done.
