Sweet Banana Cakes

You will need

  • 300 g rice flour
  • 75 g granulated sugar
  • tsp salt
  • 750 cc coconut milk from a coconut
  • 2 pandan leaves, tied up in a bundle
  • 15 "raja" banana, cut 4 cm long, divided lengthwise into two

What You do

  1. Mix the rice flour, granulated sugar, salt, pandan leaves, and coconut milk. Stir well.
  2. Boil the mixture over a low flame, stirring continuously until it becomes a thick porridge. Remove from heat.
  3. Put 2 to 3 tablespoonful of the dough on a piece of banana leaf. Insert a piece of banana in the center of the dough. Fold the two sides inward, then fold the two edges until they touch. Make 5 to 7 cm pieces.
  4. Steam the dough in a steamer until it hardens or about 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Serve cool.

Note:
